Performance Photography
Get a unique portfolio piece from your burlesque, drag, or arts performance that’s not the usual documentary-style representation of your set. These richly textured fine art photos can be used for promotions and publication and are ready for print or use on the web.
- Performer/organizer provided with web-ready watermarked JPGs for use on their website and social media sites without manipulation, covering, cropping, or removal of watermark. Files provided are cropped and colour corrected only.
- Prints, hi-res digital files, and fine art pieces available for purchase by the performers and show organizer.
- Model releases required.
$100/hr, minimum 2 hours. Contact me directly for work-in-trade options or package deals for longer projects.
Model Photography
If you’re looking for traditional headshots then I’m probably not the right photographer to work with(and you haven’t checked out my portfolio), but if you want something extra special and unique, you’ve come to the right place. I have access to a studio but can work where you’re most comfortable – in the theatre and on the stage – or in creative settings that provide unique backdrops to the shoot and add to the mood of the photo.
Rates (Updated 3/27/11)
As of April, 2011 Photolena will be shooting at Pink Panther Studios, located in the Riverside District, who specialize in erotic, fine art nudes, boudoir, burlesque and classic pinup.
- 12′ ceilings
- Various shooting spaces with one white wall and one black wall
- Concrete floors
- Separate make-up and change area

Booking a shoot
- 2 weeks notice required for shooting date.
- All location shoots are priced for the GTA. Shoots that take place outside of the GTA will include additional travel costs.
- A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking in the form of cash, check, Internet transfer or via Paypal, and goes towards your session. If you need to cancel, you can put it towards a rebooked date.
- All bookings include an initial consultation over coffee to discuss your ideas for the session.
- Model releases are required for any shoots.

Time For Prints/CD (TF*)
I will occasionally work with models on a TF* basis. TF* simply means that both the model and the photographer work for free in the expectation that the session will produce prints that will enhance both portfolios. As TF* shoots are more collaborative and usually more creative, I prefer to work with models who already have some experience and want to broaden their portfolios and am particularly interested in working with fetish, burlesque, and contortionist models.
If you would like to work with me on a TF* basis, please contact me directly. Let’s see what kind of project we can come up with. All TF* models receive a CD of up to 50 lores watermarked JPGs from the shoot suitable for online portfolios.
